Our Pastor!

W. Allen Gibson is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. He has served in ministry for 20 years. He has pastored for 12 years. Prior to pastoral ministry he has served as an Associate Pastor in two churches and as an evangelist. Pastor Gibson is also a former U.S. Marine that served his country for 15 years. During that time he traveled to 19 different countries and was allowed to preach the Gospel to large crowds in many different places while acting as a Chaplain's assistant. While stationed in Jacksonville, NC, our pastor started "Ministry to the Military" for the Church of God on Camp Lejeune. He saw men and women give their lives to God and helped them find church homes within the community. Pastor Gibson is also a Community Service Chaplain and a Pastor Facilitator. With that being said, he is, first and foremost, an anointed man of God with a passion for the lost and hurting souls of our community. God sent him here in May of 2007. Since that time we have seen souls saved and ministries within the church grow and prosper!

Pastor Gibson married his wife, Cynthia (Cindy) Gibson 27 years ago. They are partners in life and in ministry. Our First Lady is the Praise and Worship leader and also the Angelfood Ministries Coordinator. She has had 20 years of ministry experience in teaching and church leadership. Pastor and First Lady Gibson have 3 children: Elaine, age 21, David, age 17 and Hannah, age 4 They all work as a team in the church for the glory of God. Elaine is on the Prasie Team as well as an assistant children's teacher. David is the Assistant Audio and Visual tech and assists with teaching Faith Farm.
